The Blue Monkey led a weekend of personal development and communication for Save the Children, in favor of children in the province of Cam Pha, in northern Vietnam, victims of AIDS. The project is part of Save The Children’s priorities:
“Empowerment of migrant and HIV affected children and their families and caregivers to effectively participate in local policy development and implementation processes”.
The objectives of this training weekend consisted of:
1- Help children and young adults victims of AIDS to strengthen their confidence and solidarity, in order to fight against abuse and attempts at intimidation from those around them.
2- Give Save the Children educators the means to extend the work carried out by offering them creative working methods intended to improve the effectiveness of their interventions with young people.
